Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Open package of biscuits and separate them. Cut each biscuit into quarters, then stretch apart. Deposit about ½ teaspoon cinnamon roll spread into center of each, then pinch closed and roll into a ball. Repeat with all biscuit pieces.
  • Dip each ball into butter, then drop into cinnamon sugar and roll around until covered. Repeat with all balls.
  • Peel and chop apples. Mix with remaining cinnamon sugar, remaining butter and brown sugar. Stir to evenly coat.
  • Place 16 cinnamon sugar covered balls into bottom of loaf pan. If necessary, flatten them a bit with the palm of your hand to get them to cover most of the pan.
  • Sprinkle about half of the apple mixture on top of the first round of balls, spreading as evenly as possible. Cover with remaining balls, smooshing as necessary. Top with remaining apples.
  • Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean and the loaf looks golden brown and delicious. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes, then invert onto a plate and enjoy! Alternatively, keep it in the pan to reheat for later use. This is best served warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Trader Joe's Cinnamon Bun Spread is optional!
  • Feel free to substitute refrigerated cinnamon bun dough for biscuit dough.
